This document provides sole source justification for the procurement of SiCoustics acoustic mapping and wireless audio deployment services. It is prepared for use by government agencies, municipalities, parks and recreation departments, event organizers, and procurement officers who require documentation supporting a non-competitive award under applicable acquisition regulations, including but not limited to FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source), applicable state procurement codes, and local government purchasing ordinances.

SiCoustics holds an exclusive portfolio of United States utility patents covering its mobile wireless audio distribution system and deployment methodology. These patents protect the core design, mesh networking architecture, and transportation methodology of the SiCube speaker system. No other vendor possesses the legal right to manufacture, deploy, or operate a substantially similar system under these patents.

The SiCoustics SiMAP system provides capabilities that are not available from any other source. The following unique attributes form the technical basis for sole source justification:

   Patented Wireless Mesh Architecture

   The SiCube speaker network operates via a proprietary mobile mesh audio distribution system (US 10,659,881 B2). Competing audio systems do not use this architecture and cannot replicate its wireless, infrastructure-free deployment at scale.

   Battery-Operated, Infrastructure-Independent Deployment

   SiCubes require no external power source, no cable runs, and no venue infrastructure. This capability is unique to SiCoustics and enables deployment in parks, streets, parking lots, and open-air routes without facilities access.

   SiMAP Acoustic Mapping Methodology

   SiCoustics has developed a proprietary pre-event acoustic mapping and deployment planning process (SiMAP) that optimizes speaker placement for coverage, safety communication, and sponsor integration. This methodology is not available from any other vendor.

   Mobile Transportation and Rapid Deployment

   The system is designed for rapid setup and teardown at large-scale events (patented under US 10,924,826 B2), enabling coverage of routes exceeding 26 miles with a single deployment crew. No equivalent system exists in the commercial marketplace.

   Integrated Sponsor Audio and Signage Platform

   The SiCube system supports sponsor audio messaging, branded unit wraps, QR code engagement, and zone-based audio customization as a fully integrated platform — capabilities unavailable from traditional audio rental vendors.

SiCoustics has conducted ongoing market research and is not aware of any other vendor capable of providing a substantially equivalent patented mobile wireless mesh audio system for outdoor event deployment. Traditional audio rental companies provide wired or Bluetooth speaker systems that do not offer the range, infrastructure independence, mesh networking, acoustic mapping, or integrated sponsor platform capabilities described herein. Procurement of these services from any other source would require the agency or organization to accept a materially different and inferior capability.
